Domainmonster may have a funny name , but unlike some services with serious or pretentious names these guys know their business and responsibilities. They respond fast to emails and have a great user account interface on their web site.

Depending on your geographical location you may have a preference, but my longtime favorite web host is HostNine, they have server locations in the USA , Europe and Asia. All accessible from one account !
Like an insurance company proves its quality in times of disaster so does a web host. Not long ago their main power supply exploded with such a force that even the generator backup center was out of action. A case of total disaster, over 1000's of servers offline. The way HostNine solved it was great. As soon as possible all servers were with sheer manpower relocated to an even faster system.
Besides of that it is the cheapest high quality web host I know of. They provide an outstanding Cpanel service and an easy to access account management on their web site !

Every now and then I found inspiration from other designers. The most exciting collections can be found at 4Templates.com and Template Monster. They offer in my humble opinion ( after extensive research ) the most diverse range of internet website and logo designs available. If you have found a nice design I am more than willing to incorporate it into your own web site. Or use it as an example for your new or renewed website.

The famous free ones like osCommerce and Zen-Cart are great but have a common problem at hand. They are both free open source systems , the users can add numerous extensions making it capable for really every thinkable ecommerce solution on the planet. But at the same time is that huge number of volunteer specialists their weakness : everybody knows something about the system but nobody knows it all. Leading to endless discussions in their forums.
Their are many other commercial packages but for me the people from www.avactis.com have won of them all. Open source, great admin panel, easy to customize, very international and affordable.
